Walter Bailey (Par) Ltd is looking for a motivated, hardworking, and friendly individual to join

our retail team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent customer service

skills who enjoys working in a busy, family-run business. We're looking for someone who

has a positive attitude, a good sense of humour, excellent communication skills, and

enjoys working both independently and as part of a small, supportive team.

Hours

Full time (35-45 hours per week)

Monday to Friday: Between 8:30am and 5:00pm

Regular Saturdays: 7:30am to 12:00pm (rota’s are organised in advance)

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Have previous retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
Be friendly, approachable, and professional
Have good communication skills
Knowledge of equine, farming or pets would be an advantage but not essential
Be able to work on their own initiative as well as within a team
Be self-motivated and able to stay productive throughout the working day without
constant supervision
Be able to follow instructions carefully and work to established procedures
Be comfortable working on their feet for most of the day in a physically active role
Be physically capable of lifting items weighing up to 20kg (manual handling training
will be provided)

This is a hands-on role in a busy retail environment, so you'll need to enjoy keeping active,

be willing to turn your hand to a variety of tasks and take pride in maintaining high

standards throughout the day.
