Carcassing Timber
Carcassing timber is structural, graded, kiln-dried softwood that forms the internal structural frame of buildings. It is used for floor joists, roof joists, timber framing, and decking subframes. Available in grades like C16 (for general use) and C24 (for superior strength and aesthetics), it is pressure-treated for protection against insects and decay, making it suitable for both internal and external applications.
C24 Structural Timber
Our C24 graded timber is a premium structural wood, known for its high strength, superior stability, and denser grain. It’s the ideal choice for load-bearing applications such as floor joists, roof joists, and beams, where reliability and performance are critical.
Thanks to its smooth finish and refined appearance, C24 is also well-suited for decking and visible construction projects where aesthetics matter.
We stock C24 pressure treated timber in 3.6m and 4.8m lengths, with dimensions ranging from 45x47mm to 220x47mm. Longer and larger sizes are available on request to suit your specific project needs.

C16 CLS Timber

Our C16 CLS (Canadian Lumber Standard) framing timber is a highly versatile and budget-friendly solution, perfect for a wide range of internal building applications such as general framing, stud walls, and partitions.
Each piece is planed smooth with rounded edges, ensuring safe handling and a neat, uniform appearance. This makes it exceptionally easy to work with on site and ideal for projects that require a professional finish.
