Pest Control
Please note: There will be a change from our current rules of needing to have your farm assurance certificate to purchase professional grade rodenticides​.

All users of professional-grade rodenticides will need an approved training certificate in rodenticide use from January 2026.
In order to continue to be able to purchase professional-grade rodenticides, the new requirements mean farmers and growers will only be able to provide proof-of-competence in one of the following two ways:

Complete a CRRU-approved training certificate every five years.

Complete a CRRU-approved training certificate once, and be a member of a CRRU-approved CPD scheme.​
​
This change marks a significant shift away from the current situation where membership of a stewardship-approved farm assurance scheme is accepted as proof-of-competence.

Ruby Grain
A highly attractive and very palatable Difenacoum whole wheat bait for use against rats and mice. RUBY whole grain bait contains an irresistible aniseed attractant which enhances a rapid ‘take’.

Ruby Block​
Ready-to-use, all-weather compressed Difenacoum block bait. A highly attractive and effective multi-feed formulation irresistible and lethal to rodents. Produced with a number of different cereals as well as added attractants making it irresistible to rodents.To be used in and around buildings. Each bait block features a hole running through the centre enabling them to be safely secured onto a baiting rod contained inside a tamper-proof station.

Sapphire Grain
A unique formulation combining the attraction of premium grade whole and cut wheat for both rats and mice. The special blend will solve the toughest rat and mouse infestation with a bait that appeals to both species. Sapphire grain is a single feed poison with a lethal dose consumed within hours. The new registration allows it to be used in and around buildings to deal with an infestation of that building.

Sapphire Paste
Sapphire paste is formulated from a blend of premium grade cereals which are mulched and mixed together with highly attractive peanut butter oils. Proven efficacy in the most difficult environments – In and around building use. We highly recommend that you use the BETA bait station with Sapphire as the sachets can be easily secured with the specially designed bait rod.

Bait Station - Medium
The BETA is a robust, medium sized and fully secured bait station for indoor and outdoor use. Tamper proof & water resistant, designed to securely hold and maintain bait with lid springs to aid easy opening. Supplied as a complete kit with universal key and wall bracket to fix into place. The special feature removable tray allows for certain Racan Mouse Snap Traps to be placed inside.

Bait Station - Large
The BORA is a strong and fully secured bait station for indoor and outdoor use. The domed shape allows room for larger rodents to eat in comfort, whilst securely holding bait in place. Supplied as a complete kit with 2 x click fast baiting rods, 2 x detachable bait trays and wall fixing bracket. Tamper & water resistant, station can be used with Racan Plastic Rat Snap Trap . The design also allows for maximum run-off of rainwater.

Racan Dife
